Short no more.

Everyone knows I spent my younger days with the short men...

But.

I'm leaving my little man days behind.

Enjoy this swan song.

I howl at the moon as often as possible.

So do the coyotes around the Tree House where I live.

It really opens things up and lifts the spirits.

For whatever reason if that doesn't work... I go heavy duty.

Oreo's and milk.

Your Ship Has Come In....

And.

"It's a shrimp Boat"

Who am I to argue?

I love the turn of an advertising phrase.

and.

I love Rubio's. My friend. who is deathly allergic to shellfish, not so much.

You'll probably catch me there once a month munching on some street tacos. You won't catch my friend.

Everyday Prayer...

Every night Timmy and his dog Gary say a prayer before going to sleep.

They pray that all the grown ups will listen and hear the dim but not unfamiliar song. The song that we all share...

That conects and binds us together
That pours through us
That opens our hearts

They pray for those that have less and they pray for those that have more.

They pray that they can be all that they might be.

In peace.

And so it is.

Ghandi rules....

"Truth alone will endure; all the rest will be swept away before the tide of time."

Let's make a commitment today to live in the truth.

No false idols.

No judging.

No fear.

Just the simple uncomplicated breath of now.

Who Am I... Anyway...

It's so interesting that I roll out of bed on any given day with no idea who I am.

There is no way to know
There is no way to answer the question
I am never the same.

So. I work with it.

Each day I embrace this not knowing.
Each day I proclaim and celebrate the choices I make in my not knowing.

Making the mystery the triumph.

and.

In that. I own a peace of eternity.

"You won't bring me down."

Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves....

Enough said.

As the financial markets of the world collapse please enjoy classic Cher.

Everyday brings radical edges...

We make a choice in every moment.... to move toward peace and love or to move toward anxiety and fear.

It's your call.

Everytime I move in a direction, everytime I make a choice... I know exactly how the coin flipped.

"Life's What You Make It ... So make it rock!" "You decide."

Country Coterie

Alabama isn't the greatest country group of this or any year for no reason.

Deep into the lyrics of their classic hit Angels Amoung Us floats the words "to guide us with the light of love."

What if angels weren't just among us but were us...

And we worked in the light of love.

It'd be pretty cool.

Where do you fall?

“There are two ways to be fooled.

One is to believe what isn’t true.

The other is to refuse to believe what is true.”

Soren Kierkegaard - philosopher

Kierkegaard is also credited with the phrase... "Leap of Faith."

I'm going to go jump a fence.

Sinatra Smiles

It was always said about Sinatra that he could swing.

In his own words "I am a thing of beauty."

Take a tip from ole blue eyes... and give yourself a little Sinatra surge...

Mandingo Aint Just For Breakfast Anymore

Dino De Laurentis brought us the film adaptation of Kyle Onstott's book.

It's tagline:

Expect the savage.
The sensual. The shocking.
The sad. The powerful. The shameful.
Expect all that the motion picture screen has never dared to show before.
Expect the truth.
Now you are ready for "Mandingo"

Can I expect any less?

Find your inner Cher, Dolly or Barbara?

Does anyone miss the days when the super talented, super individual, free sprited performers stirred up 'trouble' through their work exploits?

Where have all the individuals gone?

Cher -- if we could only turn back time...
