Let's give peace a chance!

On February 3, 2009 Congressman Dennis Kucinich (OH-10) and 62 Congressional cosponsors reintroduced a bill to create a cabinet level position in charge of Peace. It was assigned the same bill number as in the previous Congress: HR 808.

If it sounds like a good idea to you, make a constituent call to your member of the US House of Representatives and say you want him or her to support legislation to create a US Department of Peace.

Gervais writes to Obama about Paris problem

According to Gervais, a member of the President’s “flock has strayed.” Referring to the fact that Paris Hilton has bought a house a few miles away from him, in North London, and “is out and about integrating herself with the Great British public.”

“Mr. President. We are not stupid,” Gervais blogged. “This is clearly a retaliatory strike for Posh Spice moving to L.A. I know it, and you know it, so let’s cut the ‘it’s a free country’ nonsense and come to some agreement.”
