We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us.
Palin wouldn't be were she is. without HRC. without Obama. without McCain. without Bush. We're all a collection of each other.
"I want to go to heaven. But I don't want to go tonight." Joe Diffie wrote in his country classic "Prop me Up beside the jukebox if I die."
Let's get to the voting booth and move on. together.
"I held on. because I was already gone" Sugarland's Already Gone.
It's hard not to point fingers, to worry. about everything.
but. come on.
we're all people with faults and issues and hopes and dreams.
and. just because you don't choose to follow someone. just because you voted for someone who didn't win. doesn't mean it's hopeless.
This is a country of the people, by the people, for the people. No matter what divides us... We must remain united. With respect for our differences and find the common humanity.
SO I say let's practice humanity.
And.
Make it a way of life. Not because it's easy. But because it's the right thing to do.
We owe it to those who come after us.
