Outliers.

Many lessons emerge from the book. many events are on display to offer up Gladwell's perspective all tied nicely together with facts and stories to propagate, burrow and get at the consciousnesses of truth.

In a time when a large portion of the population actually knows who 'bikini girl' is, and has adopted Octo-mom as a projection punching bag, I'm delighted that there's anthropological thinking going on. that people are working to change decades of super stagnant bloated thoughts and beliefs... built on fiction. the fiction that what was, still works now.

We don't so much need. anything. but the next evolution of our human-ness does need. a purpose. and if it isn't for our children or the next generation to be substantively better in spirit, free of depression, free of excess, free of the unsustainable consumption. It needs to be peace.

If everyday. each of us shook free of the 3.5 million years and patterns of struggle and strife and learned behaviours and moved from the brink of destruction to the higher more subtle energies and vibrations. peace would be inevitable. freedom would be a way of life and evolution accepted. nature. god. humanity would be appeased. and we'd most certainly feel Healed.

There's no question Outliers got me thinking. It blew open my mind in a way I would never have expected and I recommend it highly to any and all.
