Give Yourself Roses

In the last months of her life Audrey Hepburn speaking of her garden said "Few things are more dear to me than a full blown rose when it opens its heart.“ And I’m compelled to add - few things are more beautiful.

Footfalls echo in the memory
Down the passage we did not take
Towards the door we never opened into the rose garden
- TS Eliot

Roses have been described as enchanted, expressive, elementally elegant, unfaltering, unforgiving, devastatingly sophisticated, a symbol for strength and eternal charm. The rose is a powerful symbol. There is a deep meditative practice of imagining all of your strife, and troubles into the heart of a Rose; the energies being absorbed into it's heart center dissipating into the Rose's eternal charm.

LOVING THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
Our founding father and gardening enthusiast Thomas Jefferson felt "Nature is imagination fully formed." Be willing to see things differently, soak in what's calling forth and know your open heart is beautiful indeed.
