Tao of Mel - Be Wise...

"Wise men don't need to prove their point;
men who need to prove their point aren't wise."
-- Tao Te Ching - Lao Tzu

There is nothing to prove.

The world is such a beautiful place filled with so many lovely people concerned with sharing in the joys of living. There is so much that takes place day in and day out of our daily lives that hinges on our compassion in action for the way that we share our space.  My motto has always been to leave a situation, a place, a person's heart richer than I found it.  To leave it better than we found it.  There was something in the healing physicians oath that sent me on this path "first do no harm."  we live in a world where life and liberty is connected to two basic principles how do we put love first in our hearts and in the hearts of those we encounter and to treat a brother with as much respect as we treat ourselves.  Life is constantly in motion in a dance of change and our movement individually and collectively in our shared space relays on our ability to remember our wholeness pattern.

Life is easier when we love and release the idea of separation, understanding no one can do unto you what you do not allow, what exists within remains unchanged and unchangeable, the perfect essence of creation ever in motion and always at play.

The world is definitely what we make of it.  The way we embody compassion as a form of steely action and in many of the expressions of my work a position we assume in the world, where vulnerability becomes our sword cutting to the heart of the matter every time.  Focused on a world where harmony sings through the chaos.  Where we see the grander picture instead of the disproportionate percentage of spoilers of peace.

Be wise today and every day.  Ask that wisdom be your light as you move through your days.

Lots of Love,

Melanie
