Sprinkle it with Dew. RIP - Mr. Sunrise - Gene Wilder - Sending Love...

Nobody brought the laughter and enthusiasm and joy to his work like Gene Wilder. Whether charming us with his innate likeability, wooing us with his charisma, delighting us with his singing and providing laughs that only his unique blend of talents could provide.


So many nights spent laughing and emulating Gene Wilder and Richard Pryer movies. So many revisits of the Classic films he left his indelible mark on.  No one, ever could touch Gene Wilder. In humor, in kindness, in humanity, for all he has brought to us and for those who will continue to be touched by his legacy.

Last year I had the privilege to be at the unveiling of the 40th anniversary of YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN on the stage where they shot one of my families favorite comedies and to hear Mel Brooks talk about his love of Gene Wilder and the origins of the film on the set of Blazing Saddles and the ways that Gene Wilder's presence brought an intelligence and passion to his work - where the two found a comedy language and relationship that continues to bring grace and joy into the hearts of audiences who get to experience this timeless classic.  
  

In memorium and honoring of a true graceful intelligent, loving man. Take a tiny moment to add some extra love to each action you take today. Give yourself a gift of love, add it into the mix and watch what happens.  You don't have to be The Candy Man to enjoy a world that is delicious.

From a Mels Love Land perspective, Mr. Wilder's life is an ongoing reminder to use LOVE to imbue your words and your actions.  In his spirit I encourage your Loving actions to have the force of your intentions.  Embrace all the love.  Sing a song of love for all to hear, drop into whatever helps you remember the truth of your loving being.  Sometimes when I'm feeling blue I sing a song, if you see me you’ll catch me humming a song like 'raindrops on roses' and 'whiskers on kittens' flowing softly from my lips, sometimes it is as simple as a new tune to ease into the hearts magical properties with ease. Sometimes it is... “Who can take a rainbow, wrap it in a sigh, soak it in the sun and make a groovy lemon pie, the Candy Man can 'cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good.  The candy man can because he mixes it with love and makes the world go around.”

LOVE, mix it in and out of each and every new day and enjoy the taste of delicious goodness.

Let's put love into the equation. Let’s outdo one another in honoring ourselves and those around us.  Let’s get into the spirit of the gospel sung out loud and deeply remembered ‘Steadfast love endures forever ‘--psalms 136

You can lean on my faith it is all possible, because it is.  You are most certainly not alone. We do this together because we are in it together.  Complete with Angels, new and old.

Peace be with you in the echoes of tomorrow as emerging ideas grow stronger when shared as the inner and outer man come into harmony.
