Mels Love Land #Next100 Day 15 Consider the Possibility There is Another Way to Look at Every Situation

In a loving practice designed for growth and healing and stretching the boundaries of everyday there are questions that come up. Questions about our humanity. Questions about hate and fear. Questions about what love can do. Questions that look to investigate and understand and bring light.

One question that comes up frequently 'What does considering the possibility there is another way' mean?

These words are the practice which is at the heart of Mels Love Land. "Considering the possibility there is another way to look at any situation with love" is the discipline of seeing with the heart, listening to the truth beyond the visual representation. It is a commitment to checking in and embracing love in all its glory.

It is a practice of learning to love yourself first and make that loving POV a way of radiating outward into the world. It is a way of being with seemingly insurmountable circumstances and taking the steps forward anyway.

Those of us who are lovers and miracle workers and prayer practicers, that clear energies and connect to the 'chi' universal life force continue to practice the sacred mystical arts in full knowing that each effort is its own reward in turning the tides of a self-loathing so deep and ingrained in the shadows of our humainty that it projects outward into the 'reality' of our lives in diverse and destructive ways, swaying activites toward fear filled apathy that keeps us in a mild river of misery.

When your heart is alternately breaking and expanding with equal beats in a rhythm of truth you are fully alive, bearing witness to the events of our days. You are into each present moment awash in the exercise of love.

You can repeat something it does not make it true.  Beyond all of the judgments and fear and hatred and blind loyalty and hopes that someone will save us is our inner powerful still small voice that knows what we need to look at in our lives, what actions need to be taken, what world comes into being with all that happens that there are the commitments we make to show up for someone. This is a choice. A privilege. A way of being in a very human world. There are actions we know we need to make for ourselves and those actions lead to the person we are, that remains unchanged, that stands in the vulnerable light of humanity and knows the care and consideration of being held and seen and supported and free from oppression and fear and joy and love and wildness and all that appears in these spaces. On the surface it may be a time of truly devastating tragedies and deep ungrounded indulgence bringing up all our worst fears, numbing us into inaction because what was will not be what is. Tempting us to fall asleep. On a deeper level we are being called and encouraged to move into the adult conversation, to open up wide to the great resourcefulness and incredible displays of true inner spirit we are longing to reclaim. Like Mark Antony urging mourners into action over the body of Julius Caesar "If you have tears, prepare to shed them now." It most certainly won't be the last. But, remember these are adult tears. Propelling action. Finding solutions. Telling the truth.

Within the heart’s fire lives the passion of our connection to source to be thankful and express and receive love. It is also an emotional state of being that says ‘I revere the fire that forged these relationships and I give thanks for the love that endures through life.'

This energy of love's purest grace is made manifest through our soul's code working in concert with our nature.  How we cultivate this powerful force of our being relates the ease at which we move through the world lending our imprint. Cultivating inspiration is a practice like anything else. Acting on the inspiration where the miracles happen.

Hate is strong. Love is stronger. In Love all things are possible.

Consider the possibility you are different than your feelings, your heart is open to understanding a situation from a different vantage point, that you can disagree with the way someone wants to move ahead but can agree on the destination and spend your days in active pursuit of love and justice and equality and nourishment and education and leaving every situation better than you found it.

Love is the way.

To echo the inimitable words of Rihanna w/ Jay-Z (even though her tour ticket sales are down)  "When the sun shines...We'll shine together. Told you I'd be here forever... Said I'd always be your friend... Now that it's raining more than ever... You can stand under my umbrella. You can stand under my umbrella."

To any problem perceived or otherwise Love remains the answer.
