Love Activism is a movement of the heart. It is the constant gardening of our soul work to evolve our humanity. A few things to keep in mind - anytime you are in judgment you are limiting the solutions. Anytime you are defending you are dimming the possibilities available in every moment. We’ve all experience jolts to our systems, perhaps you are feeling a call for deeper contemplation, perhaps a spring to action comes up in your heart, perhaps a persistent thought to get more involved in creating community. Maybe you are feeling inspired. However you are feeling our communities need less criticism and more love, less judgment and more kindness.

Love Activism needs you.

What's it going to be?  What have you done for somebody today?

The 21st Century loving, empathic hearts are rooted and taking a stand, rising up in this moment and the next calling bullshit. Thank you for being a part of our ongoing efforts to create deeper community actions, tell stories that heal and inspire and share love in ways that enrich and uplift and ground our collective heart.

“Kind is the New Cool ” “Love is the Way ” Peace and joy and happiness are by products of reaching out to understand each other. Act today with more love, more kindness and more grace and the world will continue to bend toward justice. Set your sails for peace, today, now always, know the joys of harmony with yourself and the world at large.

We are in a great time of change of conscious reasoning. We do not need an amplification of hate, but a civility of discourse. We do not need a churning of fear that leads to suffering, we will be extending love.We need more education, more civility, more compassion, more education, more understanding, more connection. This issue offers more on Mels Love Land, exercises in Forgiveness, affirmations for meditative time and lots of inspiration to guide the way.

It is our time to rise up and stand for our human brothers and sisters to showcase how love leads the way, that our hearts vision of peace is possible, that kindness is cool and that we do not need to have more so others can have less. We can care for each other and provide for the common wealth. As we continue marching and standing for love and human rights and justice look around you to see a world of peace and safety and joy.

Trust the Power Within!

Super Bowl Sunday brought the flight of the SEAHAWKS in a masterful victory.  Sending out Brand love to Duracell for the use of TRUST YOUR POWER in their campaign with Seattle Seahawks Derrick Coleman, the first legally deaf NFL football player to enter the sacred grounds of sports - Super Bowl Sunday.

"They told me it couldn't be done..."

No surprise this production came from the great minds working at Saatchi & Saatchi. We have been working to integrate their LoveMarks, the future beyond brands, ideology into creating content since its inception.  Great work to the creative team on this effort.  The Duracell: Trust Your Power AD is an excellent example of infusing inspiration and love into the larger canvass of what it takes to turn within for all the answers you will ever need to light the way ahead. Love the use of parable incorporating the long twists and turns of the hero's journey lending its brush along the road to that championship season.

"They told me I should just quit..."

Taking an obstacle, of not being able to hear, choosing which voices to tune into, not engaging the negativity pivoting into the deeper river of inner power, bumping it up a notch in a beautifully executed 60 second spot is an achievement.  Well written, expertly produced with the perfect score, this commercial is the first entry for our Love List for 2014.  A total testament to the rising power of persistence against the odds to stand and deliver.

"I've been deaf since I was three, so I didn't listen."

Whose to know what setback, difference or perceived inability fuels a nobler purpose and expression of the human spirit necessary to bring more and more light into evolving more and more possibilities beyond "it can't be done."

Words can be the most deadly or can be a wellspring of inspiration. Listening goes beyond what the ears record and process.  Your perception becomes your reality.   You get to choose your destiny.

You have the power to listen with your heart and act according to your message.

 Be a beacon of love to those you encounter.
Be a light unto yourself.
Show up and do what you came here to do.
Right now.

Be inspired.

Be loving.

Be You.
